Individuals who meet the eligibility criteria and require services and supports to sustain their health and safety within the community may also refer themselves to the BSCIP Central Registry.
Within 10 business days of receiving a referral, a BSCIP Case Manager will contact the referred individual or supportive contact, to assess program eligibility and provide information about federal, state, and community resources.
The BSCIP supports a comprehensive statewide resource center that provides the latest information on brain and spinal cord injuries, assistive technology, medical care, social and financial resources, and more. The Resource Center also offers links to related initiatives and specific information to assist individuals and their families in coping with injuries and their aftermath.
